There are very many Model Boat Clubs around the country and indeed around the world, and it's good to be able to visit these clubs and of course play host to them in return. Our members will also not only visit other boat clubs, but other Venues of interest that entail a nautical theme
In May 2022, 14 of our members had a fantastic day out at Sunderland Maritime Heritage. The volunteers there were excellent hosts and showed us some of the work and research they have carried out over the years. Well worth a visit for anyone.

On Sat and Sunday 18th and 19th May 2022, Windermere Model boat club opened their doors to the public and from other clubs. Members of Roker Park Model Boat Club, complete with a number of boats made the trip across the country for a fantastic day of fun.
